For transfer of phone numbers on SIM card you have to go to phone book menu and enter options , inside these option you may find copy phone numbers to SIM card or vice versa, its always good to keep SIM as default memory if you keep changing phones but at the same time you will have limited space and limited flexibility of data storage per contact
As far as transferring SMS on SIM I dobut if its possible now, one thing could be you set your phone now in such a manner that all messages get saved in the SIM memory, this setting maybe available in messages settings.
copy them all on the Sim card ...and after that insert the Sim card in the phone ..and copy them in the other phone's memory ..or ..sync the first one with your computer 's phone book ..then connect the second phone ..and sync again ..and all the data from the computer's newly updated phone book ..will be synced with the Motorola..
You can not transfer the photos via sim card, the photos are stored on the phones memory or a memory card if your old phone have it. These are ways to transfer photos, Via bluetooth Via USB Data transfer to PC Via Infrared Via memory card
If it is a CDMA phone, take it to the service provider and ask them to transfer it to their computer and put it on your USB flash drive or your new phone. If you are using a SIM card (GSM phone) you can transfer the numbers to the SIM card using the phone menu and place the SIM card in the other phone. With a SIM card reader, you can download the information to your computer.
The Nokia phone book format is totally incompatible with the Orion 901DS. What the Orion 901DS lacks in phone book capabilities, it more than makes up in terms of price (cheapest quadband GSM phone ever!), quadband, bluetooth, radio, handsfree loudspeaker, a sweet game, and dual standby SIMs. But I digress. Back to the issue of transferring phone books. The ONLY way is to copy all the data to your SIM Card in your Nokia phone, take out that SIM Card, and put it in your Orion 901DS. The Orion 901DS phonebook format is very restrictive. Once you have the data on the SIM Card, you can transfer it to the Orion 901DS's phone memory, and put in the remaining information that's allowed in the Orion 901DS. Hope this helps!
You can tarnsfer all the photos to your computer by using the data transfer cable that comes along woth the mobile phone. Insert one end of the cable in ur phone and ther other end in your laptop/computer where USB sign is given. The laptop/computer would detect a new object and open all the data avilable in your mobile. You can select the photos from those folders and copy them and then paste them on your desktop. All the photos in ur sim card and memory card would reflect in your computer once the wire is inserted. Please contact me in case issue is not resolved.
To do this kind of transfer you would use the old phone sims card or memory card to save to the new phone. Another way is to sign in to you cell phone provider website. From there you may be able to download all your items to your new phone. From the computer to the phone wirelessly. You may need their customer service help to guide you thru the steps.
