Make sure you're log-in as the admin of that PC because if not you wont be able to reinstall the driver.

Says cannot find notebook card

uninstall the drivers for the device, reboot computer, reinstall drivers first before reconnecting. reconnect device. if this does not work, try plugging it into another usb port. if this works, the other usb-port is broken. if not, the usb-network-adapter is most probably broken.

I am trying to install the software for the Belkin Wireless G Notebook Card software. Only it reaches 100% its comes up with access denied. how can i get around it?

Make sure credentials are same with the router. Alternately you can reconfigure the router with new network key that you can use for your wireless card as well

Belkin Notebook card and its wireless access point

Hello,

In Ideal scenarios, you should just plug in the card in the notebook and it should get installed automatically.

Thanyou may scan for the available networks and you should be able to seethe network of your Netgear router(Assuming that the Netgear you havementioned is wireless capable and configured).

You can connect to the network and it should work fine.

Let me know what happens.

Setting up wireless

make sure the driver is properly installed. if you are certain that you have installed the driver properly, then try to disable first your firewall or antivirus. if the problem still exist try to contact your vendor and ask for replacement.
