I can not get a sound driver install in my laptop packard bell after a fresh upgradding of windows 7 no sound ,no net work wirelles

ok... you going to need to try and get a USB wireless adapter just to get you laptop to go online... once you get confirmed for the network, just go to the Packard Bell site and try to download the drivers for it and manually install it... see if you can barrow a wireless USB adapter with it's software so that you can go online with it.... you can also do all the updates that Windows 7 may require.... I hope this helps you....

No audio output device is installed!!!!help

A lot of the newer audio chipsets (especially in laptops) use Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA). Windows 7 and Vista don't need a separate driver, but XP does. So you need one of Packard Bell's combo driver packages like this one:

There are a lot of different EasyNote models, so if this isn't the right package for your computer, enter your serial number in the support site to find the specific downloads.

the sound drivers will not work if you have XP SP2. If you have SP2, the download the MS UAA high def audio and install it first. Then you can install the sound drivers
