My triumph tiger 900 (885) starts and runs perfectly, then after 2 or 3 miles cuts out suddenly, there is fuel in the carbs so i think its an electricle problem, when this happens the rev counter drops suddenly.if left the bike will start again ? ihave checked as many parts of the wiring and switches, etc. as i can ,all looks in good condition,no corosion or loose conections.

Check the battery itself. Your battery may have gone bad, and is not staying above the lowest needed volts to run the tach etc. And worst case, there is something wrong with your charging system. Your regulator/rectifier might not being doing their jobs. I suspect the battery first and the charging system second. Good luck.

I have a 1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500. It will ...

On older model vehicles we start having lots of electricle issues. the current flow gets interupted and broken because ALL of our GROUND wires get corroded where they are screwed to the body or frame. it is important that these connections get sandpaper shiny cleaned and tightly screwed backin. solves many issues.

Mu 2004 daytona triumph sounds like it's missing

Gotta have clean fresh fuel and carb flushed. Carbon core plug wires atract moisture. Should run better as you run it out.
