The Pacifica will not shift past 4th gear. It shifts normally through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear. Their is no high reeving RPS, no clunking, no lurching. It will just not shift past 4th gear.

is there an OD button that might have been pressed .if it has lots of miles on it it could be needing a flush job . last one I got done was around 100.00 at jiffy lube.

On/off light flashing with 1st and 2nd light flashing as well. dryer will not work

These blinking lights refer to a trouble code that is usually listed in the users manual for most common problems. If it's not listed then it will only be available in a service manual.

A hard shift between 1st and 2nd gear?

Most likely a solenoid on the valve body. It is just a coil that when energized pulls in metal rods, some push. When most coils start breaking down, they only act up when hot. Could also be the valves themselves. Also a bad seal. Ask friends for a good transmission shop. Some one that won't tell you a rebuild and only change a valve solenoid.

How do you fix a transmission if you put it in gear but it will go in it

If you have a tachometer, shift around "3" (3000 rpm) on each gear or every 15 miles per hour (1st gear 1-15, 2nd 15-30, 3rd etc-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flickering

#1 cause is a bad lamp, try changing that 1st, 2nd if they are two lamp fixtues you ballast could be going bad/or is. Another solution could be you have a loose common/neutral which is normally the white wire @ the light itself of if it is junctioned @ your switch. I would check those items befor spending the money for a new switch. hope this helps.

95 dodge dakota having hard time shifting.

Try a tranny service change a place that changes the filter the pan gasket and fluid not some of these quick places that just drain a couple quarts out of the tranny lines and thats it that wont help but a complete tranny service should help.
