Question about Philips 42PF9630A 42 in. Plasma Television
When I turn the set on the green LED comes on for a few seconds and the TV powers down and a red LED comes on a flashes 7 times fairly quickly. ANy thoughts?
After you remove the back cover inspect the power supply board for swollen or bulging capacitors. Pull and check any capacitors that you suspect to be swollen. Next, look for a sticker in the upper right hand side of the TV set. Use the values you find on the sticker to calibrate the voltages on the power supply board.

Check the fuse on the powersupply & non-powersupply area, this was very common problem like the one you have experience..
