Wondering why I was charged for the Norton service when I was never able to down load it, I had to have Dell remove what fragments were in my PC, I need my money reimbursed! I had already discontinued...

You may have been charged an automatic annual renewal fee. Go to https://www.mynortonaccount.com/amsweb/default.do?product_lang=EN and login (if you remember your user name). You can cancel your account so at least you don't get charged again next year.

You can contact Norton directly and maybe they can refund your money.
Here is Norton's support page:

Hope that helps!

Sorry, but there is nobody on FIXYA who can sort out your billing-problem with Symantec Corporation.

Please contact Symantec _directly_.

Norton are requesting payment which is not due

Fixya has nothing whatsoever to do with Norton. Just ignore the request to renew the subscription on the old computer no longer in service.

I wish to install Windows Vista Home Premium. I already have Windows XP. I pay for Norton Internet Security by direct debit through Tiscali and have done so since, 2006. I have run Norton Liveupdate. ...

You will need to cancel your Norton subscription and use one of their products that is suitable for Vista. May I suggest that you purchase Norton Internet security 2009 for a single payment of about 70 dollars.

I had purchased Norton 360 online for my lapstop late December 2007 after I did a restore on my system. For the last few months my computer has been running real slow and freezing and locking on me. Today...

firstly, edit your question above and remove your product key, as this could cause you trouble down the road more and people see it, copy it down and then stasrt using copies of this program for free using your product key. Secondly, Norton support will be able send you the file again so that you can complete the process.

I downloaded norton anti virus about seven months ago,and last week my hard drive crashed,i have had a new hard drive fitted but do i have to pay to have norton downloaded again?

Hey helen185,

If you've had to restore your computer and need to reinstall Norton Anti-Virus, you should be able to download the software a second time as long as you have access to your order number and/or Norton account information. You should be able to do so by following this link:

http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/cs/kbload.jsp?docurl=step_2007102605434976&selected_nav=1&prev_id=downloads_orders_01&prev_link=link_02

Please keep in mind that the software you purchased may need to be Norton 2006 or a more recent edition in order to be downloaded a second time, as information provided by the publisher indicates that older downloads are no longer available.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

maybe your norton is configured on a high security state. you better configure it as minimal security state. by browsing and reading whats inside your norton, you could find the things you have to adjust to enable some services of your PC.
