Re: i have a brookstone d= 114 mm f=900mm need to know...
The lens will go in the rear on the scope called a drawtube. you should also have a 90° diagonal that will be install before the lens and remain there.

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. TURN THE FOCUS KNOB until the image comes into focus.
If your scope is similar to the one in the picture above the FOCUSER end is the UP end of the tube--
the eye piece that came with your scope is too powerful... look on ebay or a site that sells telescopes. also look at the size of your eye piece holder... my ds-114 came with a 0.96 holder, these are an odd size.. the other size is 1.25 and the eye pieces are much easier to find. try looking at the moon when it is cresent shaped and start from there. if you have the autostar, you have to go through a set up sequence to start. then the scope will track the objects that you select on the goto function. don't give up!
ds-2000 refers to the model line of the scope. ds-2130 the 130 refers to the diameter of the objective lens in mm. I have a ds-2114. Where the objective lens is 114 mm in diameter. as far as the manual goes everything else should be the same.
Hi Darcy: the "D" stands for Diameter, and the "F" stands for focal length. so its a 100mm=4 inches. 900mm is how long the light is..to reach the eyepiece. let me know if this helps. STH55
yes you can..most brands of telescopes will fit others as far as eyepieces go..so if you call bushnell@18004233537 im sure they can help...good luck....... [email protected]
Sorry there are no specific manuals for this small imported relector style telescope. Use one of the Bushnell manuals for reflectors on this page-- they all work the same way.
