My Kodak DC280 ZOOM makes clicking sounds when turned on or off and the zoom does not respond. It does take good photos still; however, the lens is frozen at a focal length that is different than the photo...

Please upload new firmware:
Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

Not sure of proper name, but the "up down left right" toggler has lost its spring. How to repair?? Otherwise, this 8 year old camera is still outstanding.

Unfortunantly KODAK dooesn't keep spare parts for that long therefor it is almost impossible to repair. But KODAK offers a Trade up proceedure where you for 25-30% cheaper that the market price can trade your old KODAK camera for a new model.

I need a new lens for my camera were can i buy it!

The changing of your lens is not something which is an easy project.
If this is a point and shoot camera, the removing of the lens requires to dismantle the camera completely. This is not a job for the timid. It also will require the lens to be aligned internally with the re-adjustment of the electronic components with a program from Canon on your computer. Some of these programs will require a purchase.
I would suggest to either have it repaired by Canon or some repairman, or sell it at a site such as Ebay for repair or parts. You may also opt to trade-up or trade-off to Canon's Refurb program. Canon info
