I have not been receiving my emails can you help

Send yourself an email to make sure there is actually one to receive. If you can send one (it doesn't bounce back) and still not receive check your settings, trash and spam boxes as they may be there. If they are being sent to another box then fault find that.

Bounced email

In computer jargon, a bounced e-mail is one that never arrives in the recipient's inbox and is sent back, or bounced back, to the sender with an error message that indicates to the sender that the e-mail was never successfully transmitted. But what happens when someone sends an e-mail out into cyberspace, and why do e-mails sometimes bounce back?
When a user attempts to send an e-mail, he is telling his e-mail system to look for the domain of the recipient (for example, webopedia.com) and the domain's mail server. Once the e-mail system makes contact with the recipient's mail server, the mail server looks at the message to determine if it will let the message pass through the server. If the recipient's server has predetermined that it is not accepting e-mails from the sender's address (for example, if it has blocked the address for anti-spamming purposes), the server will reject the message and it will subsequently bounce back to the sender. The message will also bounce back to the server if the mail server on the recipient's end is busy and cannot handle the request at that time. When an e-mail is returned to the sender without being accepted by the recipient's mail server, this is called a hard bounce.

Yahoo email problem

I fear your account may have been hacked by someone you don't even know. Please try to change the password of your account as early as possible for your own safety and watch what happens.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay.

HOW DO I RE-ENABLE MY YAHOO ACCOUNT

Once you try to login to your yahoo account, it will say that because you have not used the yahoo mail for more than __ months it has been temporarely disabled, it will also ask you if you want to reactivate the account. just click on it and your account will be enabled.

all your past email will be lost.

it worked for me. just click on the link that says 'reactive my account'.

if it doesnt say that your account is temporarely disabled and just doesn't let you in, then wait for 24 hours, sometimes they disable the account if consicutively written wrong password for more than 5 times, but in 24 hours is comes back on.

I want to bounce certain emails back to sender. I tried email washer service, would not work on att.net/yahoo email at all. I want it to say that there is no such email account to those I block

I am affraid, that this is only configurable on mailserver. You can redirect emails from those blocked users to trash, but there is no possibility to send back bounced msg like "account doesn't exist".

Problem receiving email

Try to create a test email and send it to your own email address, check the bounce back error message. Make sure that your email space is not full.

Mail keeps bouncing back to me as undeliverable

The way I would get around that problem is to push the reply and respond that way, It will write to the E-mail address that just wrote to you. Try that and let me know if that works.

or you could take your mouse and high light it and copy it and then past it on to the address box to whom you are will be sending mail to.

Most times for E-mails not working is do to small problems like useing ( , ) Rather then the ( . ) They both look almost the same.

Email

Why do I get a "Failed Delivery" message?

When you get mail from a "MAILER-DAEMON" or a "Mail Delivery Subsystem" with a subject similar to "Failed Delivery," this means that a message you sent was undeliverable and has been "bounced" back to you.

These messages are produced automatically and usually include a reason for the delivery failure.

Bounced messages normally consist of two parts. The first contains the reason for the bounce; the second contains your original message.

The most common reason for a failed delivery is that the email address you entered isn't valid.

If the Mailer Daemon says that the account doesn't exist, double-check the spelling of the address you entered.

A single misplaced letter can be enough to cause a failed delivery. If the message continues to be bounced back to you, you might want to verify that the account hasn't been closed or moved.

If there's a different reason given and you'd like us to investigate it, just let us know.

If you can copy and paste the reason given for the failed delivery into the message you send us, it will be very helpful as we attempt to determine why your message bounced.
