My flash pen was working fine but for some reason every time i now put it in any computer , the message "its not formatted". Also the U3 will not install/run. So i can not use this flash pen at all now. I know i can format, but how can i get back the important information already on this flash pen, i really need this information as it is not stored anywhere else (more fool me for not having a back-up folder). can i recue this situation without loosing all my info?

You are calling this a flash pen, it looks a flash card. You use this by putting it in a usb port on your computer? On which computer has it been working before? and when you open your( my computer there is nothing showing up in the usb port you have pluged it in to?) 1. Insert your pen drive in computer and don't take it out. 2. Place WinXP Cd in CD-Rom 3. Restart your Computer 4. When your computer prompts boot from Cd click any button 5. Wait for upto 5-10 minutes. 6. Now when format screen comes select your pen drive over there. 7. Now install winXP over to it. 8. Now it asks for format. 9. After formatting it copies the files, at that particular moment restart your computer. 10. Remove the Cd from CD-Rom and the pen drive from computer. 11. Now when your computer is restarted insert your pendrive and delete if there is any unneccessary file exists. 12. Now you'll feel that your Pendrive is in OK condition.

first insert your sandisk pendrive.Now right click on my computer.Go to manage option . select disk management. From that you must select your drive letter for your pen drive.Go to Action menu near to File menu.Fromthat select all tasks and select formatting.Then again goto all tasks and select change drive letter and paths.select the drive letter and your problem is solved. thanks for asking your problem.
