Please note the Mitsumi D509V2 Floppy drive is an internal drive and will not need an AC adapter. It should connect to the output connector of the PC power supply. These use an old 34 pin cable and you have to be careful if your PC motherboard can support this connection. Most of the present motherboards have high speed SATA interface. Also it may be hard to find drivers for Windows7 and above. So unless you have a WindowsXP PC you will not be able read it.
If there is any specific information you need please provide your question in the comments field.
I can tell you just what I told someone else with the same problem a minute ago. Your computer doesn't support the floppy format you saved the data on the disk with. All you can really do is try putting the disk in every computer you can find until one of them reads it. So, basically, there may not be much you can do. Personally, I hate removable disks. I have that same problem with CDs all the time. Well, good luck.
Then unfortunately your drive is faulty. Have you tried spraying a little compressed air inside to shake around the dust? Otherwise if you are without warranty then you will either have to get a new drive, OR, start using USB thumbdrives which are a lot more economical these days.
