Question about Sony VAIO PCV-RX511 PC Desktop

Mouse quit working

Hello,
I have a sony PCV-RX490TV desk top XP Proffesional and my mouse quit working. I bought a new mouse at Best Buy 4 days a go and it quit working I took it back and tried a different mouse and it doesn't work either but it does work on a different computer so I have narrowed it down to a problem with my computer not the mouse. Any suggestions?

Update your drivers once you install them, drivers are always comng out with new updates, to update a driver ---

Open your Control Panel. Click Start, (then pick Settings in 95/98/Me) then Control Panel. Double click the System icon and choose the Device Manager tab. Find the device for which you want to update the driver. Click the plus sign (+) next to the various categories, click on the device you want to update, and then click on “Properties” and the “Driver” tab.
Then click the “Update Driver” button. A dialog box will walk you through the process. Choose “Display a list of drivers ...,” then choose the “Have Disk” button and use the dialog box to find the “driver files” folder you created on your desktop. Choose the “.INF” file in that folder and click OK. The system will update the appropriate driver. If there is more than one .INF file, try each one until you get a successful install. Finally, reboot your machine so that the new driver can take effect.

Failing install of PCI SATA Drive


You need to load the SATA Controller driver for the XP install to access the HDD.

The driver will need to be downloaded and extracted to a floppy diskette, then loaded during the XP install.

If your system doesn't have a floppy drive, you'll either need a USB floppy drive or create a slipstreamed XP CD with the driver added to the CD.

Start Win Xp Setup And When U Go To Chose Hard Disk There Is Ur Removel Drive Display Delet Ur Pen Drive Partition And Creat New One And Give It To 31000 Mb Size And Make Partition FAT32 now Don press F3 And Exit Setup And Login To Ur Xp And Go TO Disk Manager Format Pen Drive New Partition U Have 31 GB Of Size That Work Correctly And Ur Unpartition Space That Show Pen Drive Is 100% Fake Just Only One Way To Use Ur Pen Drive Is This One Say Thanx If My Suggetion U Like...... Sorry For My Pour English........

Wireless mouse quit working


plz check the batteries of your wireless mouse. try reinserting them or may be you can try a new set of batteries.also try to reset the connection on your mouse by pressing the connect button under the mouse and on the reciever together and releasing both together
