First you have to make sure there is enough room on the memory stick. Plug in the USB stick and open My Computer. You should see a "removable device" on E or F. That is your memory stick. Right click and select properties. It will tell you how much free spce there is. Now check the size of the powerpoint presentation the same way: Navigate to it and right-click.

If there is enough free space, you're almost there. Right-click on the powerpoint file (ending in .ppt) and select copy. Then go back to my computer and open the F:\Removable device icon. Once inside the device, right-click and hit paste. You should see the .ppt file being copied onto the memory stick. When it is finished, right-click the F device again and hit eject.

Are there replacements available

There are, but the problem is connecting them to modern computers as the connections to the motherboard are SATA rather than IDE. The only way is to put on into a hard disk enclosure and connect it via USB. I have a proprietary made one when I go my laptop.

You should be aware that any Floppies that you have, that you or someone else has put data on are probably corrupted and unreadable. No one realised that the data would vanish and that is whey memory sticks came into being. Also 1.44Mb versus 5 Gigabyte, you choose :>)

I have an LS120 floppy siting on a box. 120Mb was so radically big when I bought it for £125.00 UK GBP! It reads both disks.

Hitachi camcorder DZHS503 dvd disc problems. We recorded some family moments very precious, birth of my daughter. The disc is saying cracked, dirty and we can't read because of possibility of those...

You can recoverlost photos, videos from memory card or memory stick of your camcorder withthis
1. Do not save any new photos and videos into the memory card or memory stick.
2. Connect the memory card or memory stick with computer. You should see itshown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download memorystick recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery(simply because i was using it and it worked)
4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start'button to start scanning process which will find your lost photos and videos.

I can not locate where the memory stick is located on my Digital Mavica MVC-FD85. pleaase let me know

I'm sorry to inform you that the MVCFD85 Camera does not have a Memory Stick slot. The medium using in the Mavica FD camera is floppy disc.
The MSAC-FD2M floppy disk adapter can be used in some FD Mavica digital cameras.
With the help of the above mentioned Floppy disc adapter, you can insert a memory stick inside the adapter and insert it in to the floppy disk drive on the camera.

My aspire one netbook says ntldr is missing. problem is it does not have any cd drive or floppy drive so how can I get passed this problem?

This is common of a virus/malware attack. Really you could do with an external cd drive to run a antivirus boot disk and then use a repair cd to copy over a clean ntdlr file.
Otherwise (if running xp) there are ways of getting XP onto a memory stick to run the repair, search google for XP Memory Stick and you should find a guide.
But really this is a job for a technician (like us at MCSLondon) who could do this for you quickly and cheaply, if you are confident then try the repair option with the memory stick but be careful not to install over your data.
A technician would take our your hard drive and put in a new one, then install a fresh operating system onto that, and then transfer across your data from the old hard drive.

There are various types of USB sticks or adapters. The most common is an USB memory stick and they come in memory capacities from 256Mb to 32Gb or more.
The USB memory sticks are use to transfer data from a computer to a memory stick and vice versa (ie. copy data from one computer to another computer).
To copy data to and from a USB memory stick, all you have to do is to plug the memory stick into the USB port of a computer, the computer will recognize it as an external memory device.
Wait a few seconds and click to open the memory stick, just like openning a folder on your hard disk. You can then open the hard disk and copy data files from the hard disk to the memory stick in the same way if you were copying data to a floppy disk.

FD-81 ... Can it use the memory Stick Adapter

I have a Mavica FD81, and I do not believe you can use the memory stick adapter with it. This camera came out long before the adapter was available. The manual only mentions floppy disks.
