I have a 52 in RCA Plasma TV and when I turn it on nothing comes on but just sometimes a green blank screen with no sound and sometimes power goes on and off. Ive hired an technician to look at it last night but he said to ask the company for the services manual it might be the circuit board, because he took a look at it and he said all the fuses are working.

Any set is repairable. It is the question of the cost and the availability of replacement parts.
It sounds like a component overheated and blew. Most likely there will be collateral damage where other components will also be damaged.
The failure could be in the power supply, or in any of the main drive circuits in the set.
You will have to call for a service estimate. In considering the age of this set, my preference would be to go out and get a descent LCD or Plasma set. The picture quality and performance of these new sets are far superior to the one you have!

that is a common problem with this rca's check the convergence board for a short circuit

Theses sets had 2 problems pip mod or most of the time Flyback Transfomer bad.

Check the solder connections on the flyback and also right next to the flyback there is a small white coil with copper wrapped around it that will sometimes arch causing the solder to need re-soldering

CP150 is a capacitor in the power supply circuit....feel top to
see if flat....change if "pooched" or swollen..................T.

i had an older hitachi. Same problem. It was the capacitors in the comb filter had dried out. Replaced them and it was like brand new.

how long? 3 seconds.. does it sound like chirping? is it comeing from back. smell anthing?
