Question about Bosch WFMC 3200 Front Load Washer
Thanks to this site I found one of the leak problems in my washer which is the rubber ring around the door.
My wife is complaining though that the trap door on the bottom right corner of the washer should be completely empty of water when the washer has completed a wash. I don't know what that is called but it seems to be some sort of trap.
So if I open that immediately after a wash, would there be some water spilling out or should it be bone dry? If it is supposed to be dry, does this mean that the hose is plugged or something?
It is normal that there is water in the trap, which is your filter. You clean this not after every wash, it depends on your usage. I have my machine trap looked into once in 2 months; i use it once a week. Of course i clear all pockets of clothes before i put them in machine.
