Question about Kenmore 17252 Free-standing Dishwasher
Im trying to hook my hose up to the sink i bought a adaptor and when i put the hose on to the adaptor its not hooking on?could there be something missing?
I would not recomment putting chemicals in the dishwasher. There is usually some kind of filter in the bottomt at you can easily take out and clean. It's common to have parts of labels and plastic clog this up.
Try removing and cleaning this first. It may also be reached from a separate hatch in the fronc of your dishwasher, depending on the make and model. Just make sure it's securly back in place before you start it afterwards, or you may flood your kitchen.
You may also try to disconnect the hose and blow through it to see if you may be able to blow back any objects stuck there.
If none of this helps your problem may be in the pump, and then it's usually a job for professionals.

SOURCE: hose does not fit on sink faucet
i have a small adapter that came with my dishwasher. you unscrew the aerator from the faucet and screw in the adapter. maybe you need one of those.

you are going to want to make sure that the threads on the hose match the faucet and also make sure that the gasket is in place you might even need to get a adapter for the unit to hook up to the faucet.
i would consult the manufacture or the users guide for further help
