Washer beeping during washing - no code error - now it starts and with the lid open
Bought the washer August 4, 2006 - out of warranty - when you turn it on it goes to clean washer no matter what buttons you push - no error codes coming up on it - and last night I woke up to find it running with the lid open on the unit - unpluged it and went back to bed - my wife plugged it back in this morning and it starts running water and stops as it pleases with the lid open or closed - any suggestions other than throwing it out the door!
I have an Oasis model 110 27062600. Mine has started beeping continuously around the clock--even when there are no clothes in the washer and it will start this by itself. I haven't experienced the washer washing by itself--yet. However, I am unable to change any of the options (water temp, etc). I have to mash the start button over and over before it will take. I have read all the solutions and they are tremendously helpful (so glad I looked here before I called Sears!) but I am still confused as to what I need. Can someone tell me with the part numbers, please? Thank you for your help!

There has been a noted problem with the Oasis and the particular problem(s) you just described. The problem is caused by the User Interface board which is located behind the control panel. Make sure you identify the correct board. There is a Main Control board located UNDER the console. The user interface board is located BEHIND the console where the control knob and push buttons are. The only fix for this problem is to replace the control board in the control panel. If you provide me with your model number (located around the wash tub opening under the lid somewhere), I will research a part number and price for you. I can also give you step-by-step instructions on how to repair it yourself. Post back with comments and let me know. I hope this helps you.
