How about try changing your display setting, go to control panel. Double click display icon, click settings, click advance and monitor. From your monitor settings change screen refresh rate to 60 Hertz and click ok and ok. Try to restart your computer and observe.
Does it have any beep sounds on switching on( some computers won't produce beep sound) or does your monitor is not getting any signals from computer even though it is ON and has shown any message or menu screen of Monitor functions then, You will be having a faulty RAM or your Graphic port has some hardware malfunction.Or it can be also from a new unsupported hardware installation that will prevent computer from booting up.
If your monitor does not provide any of the above monitor functions successfully then It would be a monitor problem. Check wires or cables of monitors or contact nearby technical support
Download and install the firmware updater.
If that doesn't resolve, your player may really have a hardware issue. The battery is not replaceable by the consumer. My reccomendation is to exchange it with the store. If that fails, redeem your warranty through Sandisk (hope you saved your receipt).
This is due to using outdated hardware. Its not necessarily any one thing. Sure, more RAM and a new video card (even an upgraded processor if possible with your main board) will help. But if your computer is 5 years old, you need a new one for gaming purposes.
I've seen your problem countless times, and if you don't have an upgradeable computer, or its a name brand pc, you will need a newer one.
The reason it seems to get worse, is that #1, your hardware just gets older as time goes on, and #2, games become more sophisticated, resource intensive, and have higher system requirements.
Your computer can no doubt handle a lot of things without issue, but games, anything video intensive, or that require a high % of RAM, processor usage, or video usage are going to give you problems.
Unfortunately it sounds like the processor fried. These are very prone to heat degradation.

Hi,
I have to agree "...that the motherboard's bios doesn't recognize the processor and that I should upgrade the bios...". Though I think that this is only a display issue and not necessarily true CPU speed. You can check if the correct CPU is displayed inside Windows by right click on My Computer and details would be shown in the System Properties.
To upgrade the BIOS:
1. Determine/log your current BIOS and its date by pressing Pause on initial boot when motherboard details are shown;
2. Continue booting by pressing escape and run your Windows normally. Go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer and verify if they have an updated BIOS (compare date of release). If an updated BIOS is available, download. Likewise download the flashing utility. Further instructions are also available on a step by step procedure. Some newer mb versions/models have a Window based update feature. Check if you have such.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need further information.
Good luck and kind regards.
