Ignitor on gas stove keeps clicking

The model number that you gave is for an ELECTRIC stove, and you are referencing an ignitor on a gas stove. Please take another look at the model number of your unit, so that we might be able to help you solve your problem.

yes it causing a false ground
giving the ignitor a false gorund will make it fire
it should calm down or you can turn the flame on and let it dry

Spark ignitors on gas stovetop wont stop sparking

Make sure yo haven't spilled liquid on the ignitor becuase this will cuase all ignitors to spark constantly. If all is dry, the spark module must be replaced.

Mr. Heatman101, You are brilliant. My creeda stovetop igniter was clicking. Every other help site said to replace the igniter. You had the right answer. I was cleaning when it started. Your solution to use a hair dryer worked. You are awesome.

SOURCE: spark ignitors on gas stovetop wont stop sparking

Make sure yo haven't spilled liquid on the ignitor becuase this will cuase all ignitors to spark constantly. If all is dry, the spark module must be replaced.
