Cant remember hard drive password

Wow, that's unfortunate. You're up the creek without a paddle. I'm not calling you a thief, but 99% of the time when you encounter a computer that has the lock on the hard drive and the person in possession of the computer does not know the password, the computer is stolen. The original owner put the password lock on to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data.

You've got a real problem. I'm not calling you a thief, but 99% of the time when there is a computer that has a lock on the Hard Drive and the person in possession of the computer don't know the password, the computer is stolen. The Hard Drive Password is put on to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data. It could be set by the real owner remotely once they realized the system was missing.

You're definitely out of luck if there is a Password on the Hard Drive. The only way you can get the system to ever work again is to get that someone that put the password on the hard drive to take it off.

99% of the time if a computer has a Password on the hard drive and the person it possession of the computer does not know the password, it's a stolen computer. The original owner put the password lock on it to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data if it is stolen.

My hard drive disk is locked and i forgot the password how can i fix it

LOL, you are SOL (Shid Outta Luck). Most times when the hard drive is password protected it was put there by the original owner to keep thieves from gaining access to sensitive data. They can lock it everyday or they can do it remotely once it is stolen. So the million dollar question is: Did You Steal It or Buy it Hot? Anybody smart enough to put a password on the hard drive is smart enough to remember it. After all, most people don't know how to do it.

The only way you're going to get the access to the computer is to get the original owner to give you the password. LOL

Got a computer from my sister and she forgot the user name and password.. How do i fix that.. Emachine

There are only 2 options to fix this, either re-install a fresh copy windows or you could get a program called password resseter and it will do the trick. There are various programs that will also do the trick but they must be installed on a flash drive.. Let me know if this answers your question and good luck..

Everytime i try to sign into oovoo it keeps saying Failed to sign in. i do not know how to fix it.

first if your password is caps sensitive use correct symbol
IE:press caps lock on--then try
press caps lock off --then try

This is the most obvious solution if it was previously working with your password
