Toshiba the red on my tv is shadow , my touch focus is given me a error message when I try to do manually , I can't get the red line to move and the letters in red are not strait looks like a arch

The shadows lean to the left on the left side and then on the right they lean out to the right. I have a blue shadow on my screen,I went step by step to adjusting the color convergence,I can focuse every color,but the blue will not move towards the center to aline with the cross,it let me move everry other direction but to the left.

My problem is probably the same. My red is out of whack, so it looks like I am watching a 3-D movie without the glasses. The red is out of line, so everthing has a red shadow. Your convergence ICs need to be replaced. There are two of them they are both STK392-110 you can get replacement Ics and free instalation instructions at the following link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

The convergence ICs and the six 1.8 ohm 1watt resistors need to be replaced. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com which has the Two Convergence ICs and the six resistors plus the CD with instructions on how to do the repair.
If the shadow is off to one side then it's a convergence adjustment. If it is a blue outline it may be your blue focus. There should be focus knobs behind the speaker cover. They are usually covered by a piece of black tape. The convergence screen should have a prompt for changing the color you are controlling, possibly exit button. Toshiba has several of the older owner manuals on their site as archived models.
Typically this is a convergence problem and can be repair relatively easy. Refer to this video to determine if you truly have a convergence problem. Also make sure you use your TV's original remote to make this adjustment.

how old is the tv ??
if this tv is older than 5 years it may need to refill the liquid on the proyection bulbs and/or could have contaminats in the fluid causing the ghost and to fix that you will need a professional person to do it
Does the blue and red crosses move at all ... eather vertically or horizontally. if they move at all then it may not be the chips.. could be a resistor. if the crosses dont move then it probally the ic. these chips run about 7 to 45 dollars apeace depending on type. at our shop we charge around 125 to put in.

My 57H81 won't converge, plus I get the "touch focus error" message. I could get manual convergence of blue, but not red. Plus, during touch focus the red would not move horizontally
your convergence amp ic's./if you want to cheat/align the other two colors and manualy move the green yoke rings on the green picture tube neck so the green cross aligns with the red and blue.,they shuold form white when all three are aligned,on top of each other.
