If you place your Win7 disk in the DVD drive boot the laptop from the disk and choose to install a new system. Follow the menu and prompts. When it has installed download the drivers from Acer.com otherwise you will get problems. Hope that helps.
There are none and I am sorry but there probably never will be, See this is the major problem with Win 7 anything over a year old generally just isn't supported.
Here is how to Install them so they work.
Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop.
You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP.
Right click the .exe file and select "Properties".
Then select the tab called "Compatibility"
Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted.
Now apply the settings and run the installer.
This should work for most drivers, but not all
Install and run as Administrator.
Use the link below to select your operating system and it will lead you to the driver (the software you need to install your printer) download page. You should be able to install your printer with the correct driver.
Insert driver/software CD into your computer and follow the prompts to install this software. It will tell you when to plug the USB cable in for it.
If you don't have the supplied CD, you can download the drivers and some software at HP HERE. Just select your operating system and then download the Full Feature software/drivers.
