Question about DeLonghi Pinguino PACL90 Portable Air Conditioner

3 Answers

Error Message I have a DeLonghi Pinguino PAC L90 portable air contitioner - last night there were thinderstorms and the electricity went out for a second. Now the unit flashes a message "Fsomething (looks like an L with a line through the middle)". I have unplugged the unit for several minutes but the message still flashes when I plug back in. No response when I depress any of the buttons on the unit. Is there a reset button hidden somewhere? Is there a more serious problem? Help!!

So I turned on the dehumidifing function of my Portable delonghi PAC125 heatpump, woke up in the morning to see a little red flashing light by the power button (the red light with an ! mark above it). It looks bad. This is a portable aircon that was bought less than a month ago! Is it broken ?

It's actually "Ft", which means "Full Tank".  The instruction manual says to drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses.
To drain the tank, open the cover on the rear of the appliance. Pull out the 2 drain hoses, take off the caps, and let all the residual water flow out.  When all the water has been drained, place the caps back on the hoses and put the hoses back inside.
It also says you need to clean the filters and let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.
This is also the procedure for "End of Season Operations."
Hope this helps!

Hi I have a DeLonghi Pinguino PACT100. I used Suebee88's advice and checked water had been emptied. I found water tray empty but after lots of fiddling found that there was a float on left hand side of tray which slotted into machine which was not fixed in properly. With a little bit more poking and prodding I readjusted the mechanism so the tray fit correctly and hey presto it worked! Thanks Suebee88!!!

Delonghi Pac L90

Hoses for proper connection should have been included with your purchase. Without the hoses the set-up can not be done satisfactory. One is for fresh air supply and the other is the hot air exit hose. These are normally vented out a window. Check with the dealer where you perchased the unit from. If from a private individual contact them.
