Question about Dewalt DC011 AM/FM Radio
I have removed the 8 screws holding the case together and can't figure out how to separate the front from the back. It acts like it's glued together. Can you off some idea as to how to get inside the radio?
The radio works fine, but the charger doesn't work. I'm assuming that it's just the fuse.
I had the same problem with the case not coming apart after I took the screws off, but thanks to someone posting a suggestion on this website, I was able to take it apart and take care of the problem. Use a soft mallet and use it around the seam of the radio until it pops loose.
By the way, my original problem with the radio was that it would not get any power at all, whether using the power cord, or an 18v battery. I was able to fix the problem by replacing the fuse located inside the case (250v / 1AMP)......works great now!! Many thanks to all of you who posted suggestions on this great website!!

TURN THE UNIT OVER AND REMOVE THE TWO SCREWS FROM THE REAR THIS WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
