I have microtrend antivirus on my pc using op system Vista. when it scans it may identify threats and then says its cleaning and takes hours. I have had to power off . pc for it to stop. when it does its auto scan the same thing happens never being able to quarantine the threats if there are truly threats how can this be fixed

2. Once your computer starts to turn on, press F8 (or for other computers, it could be F5) repeatedly until you see the boot option.

3. Using your arrow keys, highlight Safe mode with networking then press enter.

4. You could just log in as the Administrator or in your account.

5. Click on yes when it prompts you that you are running in safe mode.
