Question about Computers & Internet
I've had a laptop for a year now. It's a Sony Vaio VGN-C2S runnin on Vista. It all seemed fine till one day the mouse and keyboard stopped working on every startup, i tried unpluggin the battery to restart it and tried again but the same problem. I have tried taking the battery out and leaving the main power suplly in, yet still the same problem happens. Is there anything wrong that you can point me to, all help is appreciated.
Hi DJ try to check your cables and connections, if it still the same, try change your keyboard and mouse, borrow from others to double check other device that works with other's PC and try your keyboard and mouse too on other PC. have you identify the problems?
Try also to go CMOS settings by pressing DEL or F2 when restarting your PC , go to device options and Enable options that supports USB or PS2, save it and restart your PC...
