Lap top screen pixilation

Help! Laptop screen has suddently pixilated so badly I cant see what is displayed. It seems to be starting up ok.

I have recently loaded up vodaphone software to use 3G - have I mistakenly loaded a virus??? Or has my trusty computer come to the end of its life?

Hi Claire, try to restart your PC on Safe Mode, try to uninstall the software that u installed that caused the problems, reboot it. if its work fine then that's it, but if u wnt to use the software try reinstalling it and be careful on the options u select when the installation is going, you might install it wrongfully and that causes the problem.

My xbox 360 is having pixilation problems. I would turn on the 360 and even the opening symbol itself would be pixilated. Then when I play games, it completely ruins the feels for the games when I can...

hey.. go to your settings, console settings, go to display settings, screen format and should be settings there or go to hdtv settings and choose from the list or if you have a hd ready tv go buy a hd cable and the graphics are great! hope it helps

I have a 42hp83 toshiba tv n when turned on i get pixils at bottom and blotchy pixils all over screen..

Check the connections to the TV, try to double check if the input source is good and does not carrry any video noise. the next thing would be a fault within possible with the drive, a screen failure or a processing fault..

Lap top ok but cant see anything on screen

2 possible problem, bad LCD or bad CFL. attach an external monitor and start your laptop. if you see a display, you need to bring your laptop to a professional repair center because fixing CFL needs special tool. if you are capable of removing parts of your laptop, you can find LCD assembly on ebay.

hi Shaidan ... try going into the system settings and advanced then visual effects under performance ... put it on custom then disable (remove checks) beside everything ... also many graphic cards have fans on the graphic processor these days ... you can take a look at that and make sure it is clean and performing ok ...
