I happened to call some division of philips electronics to get the correct phone #. They were immediate suprisingly, and they walked me through every step. Thank you for asking about my experience.

SOURCE: phillips tv , double vision,
You have bad convergence IC's. Replace both the red and blue drive chips. They are easy to spot. They are mounted to large, finned heat sinks. The # on the chips starts with "STK-" and then there are numbers following. Both red and blue use the same part. There are 20 or so pins to unsolder\solder. These parts are available to the consumer from tritronicsinc.com. Good Luck!!

SOURCE: I have a DVD recorder/VCR
I have a DRC8310Nthat my mother inlaw gave me. It worked until recently when it won't read any disk but the head cleaner and it glitches when it does that. Seems like a software issue to me. any Ideas?

SOURCE: What TV should i buy ? (help)
Don't buy a rear projection TV. They are obsolete now. People are giving them away on Craigslist every day. Somey use three projection lamps, one for each color, and these are EXPENSIVE! Also hard to align to get the colors right, Buy an LCD instead. Wal-Mart has them cheap. Or buy a DLP projector and use it as a basis for your home theater. A DLP projector only uses one lamp module. Not furniture, but you can ceiling mount-it. Check Ebay for used units.
