Printing spine labels for books on hp laserjet 1020
I can not successfully print barcode spine labels for books from a Publisher document. I think that the auto scaling keeps overiding the document settings when printing even though I have turned off the scaling. The labels are demco Laser spine labels on a sheet which is 10 x 10. 1" by 3/4 ".

Most likely to be a page feed problem, look online to clean page feeder rubber rollers.

I think you must stop printing for a continuous period of more than 15 mins of printing. Wait at least 5 mins for the printer to cool down internally and then you can start printing again, but not more than a continuous 15 mins.
Do you have Status Messages turned off?
Access the Printer Properties window.
Click the Configure tab (figure 1).
Re-enable Status Messages by selecting On .
Power cycle the printer by turning it off, then back on.
Wait a few seconds for the job to resume or try printing the job again.
