Try ramclearing the parameters.
Else
You have to send the firmware on top of the actual one

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have a label with colours of gray and black. Toshiba B-SX5T printer does not print the gray colour very well at all. Shoppy print of areas on the label that are gray. Printer issues?

You must either modify your graphics or try another driver ou driver options.
Take care that this printer only print black dots and the grey is obtained by not printing all the dots.
With some algorithms the grey color is not correctly interpreted.

How to send printer commands to TEC SX5 printer

A lot of printers you can put special commands in a text file and just send it as a print job. You will want to consult toshiba for commands. Also lots of printers accept commands via telnet. You can use putty to telnet to the printer. Also many printers have web interfaces to configure them.

We've a problem with our TEC printer B-SX55. Sending a job via parallel interface only results in an error message showing up: XS;I,0001,0012C5 Can anyone tell me what to do to get it up and running...

This type of error message usually means a command error has been found in a command received by the printer. 16 bytes of the command error, hence the XS;I,0001,0012C5 message. It starts from the command code, XS.

I am not sure of all the command codes but I would suggest starting by re-installing the printer driver.

I am having problem with sending commands to printer. i copy the commands in user manual on the "send printer command" section. But the printer no any response.

I would certainly check all data connections, if everything is ok, then make sure that the printer is in the correct setting for receiving this data

How to share printer B-SX5T , under Windows XP

Hi there,

Please follow the below steps -

1) Go to Start and click Control Panel. Control Panel Window will appear, then double click Printers and faxes.

2) Printers and Faxes window will appear. Right click the printer you want to share, then click Sharing…

Note: Make sure you've enabled File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks on network card's properties.

3) Select Sharing tab and tick Share this printer to share the printer. You can type in a new name in the Share name text box to change your printer name on the network, however this will not change the printer name on your computer. Click Apply.

Note: If the other users using different version of Windows to access your printer, they will need to install printer driver themselves. You can help by installing additional printer drivers on your Windows XP, so that the printer driver will be installed when other users access the shared printer with different version of Windows. Click Additional Drivers, tick additional driver you would like to install. You will be prompted to install those additional drivers after clicking OK.

4) Once you have shared the printer, you will see there is a hand supporting your printer.

Please post comments if you need more help or information...........

Good Luck!!

Thanks
