There is a blue shadow that started in the bottom left corner, but has progressively grown to a horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. It shows up very faintly at the startup as a small shadow in the corner, but gets way stronger afterward.

- Thank you...It worked!! I don't know if it was the bulb or the cable since I did them both at the same time (I know that's bad practice, but, I didn't want a hot bulb).
Hi, please try to replace the cable, try another input source and reseat or replace the bulb . If issue still present upon doing those steps you may need to call epson tech. support at 562-276-1300 so that they can verify whether your projector is under warranty or not and give some great option regarding your projector.

We have an epsom emp740 Where the power cable attaches to the unit there are 2 pins. One of them is half missing and needs replacing. Currently we have to hold the power cable in a specific position for it to work. If moved the unit fails.
