Question about Intel Motherboard
I just purchased an intel dp35dp mobo and the wireing set up manual may as well be in spanihs to me. This is my first build and i was wondering if there was a web site out there that had better instructions on what wireing from the power supply goes where on the mobo. Any help would be gteatly appriciated
Hi superdarien, you can click on this link for a little help with installing a motherboard. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/145
Connecting power from the power supply to the motherboard.
There are a few connections from the PSU to motherboard & they are important. Please open you're motherboard manual to page 11 & 12.
The letters M & T are the two most important connections. M is a 4-pin ATX_12volt plug. It can only be connected one way. There is a small plastic locking clip on the connector. Letter T is the main power connector. It as well can only be connected (one way). There is also a locking clip. (Plastic). Look at the 24 pin connector on the board. http://www.brainbell.com/tutors/A+/Hardware/Power_Supply_Connectors.htm
You do not need to be a geek to hook this stuff up. You're manual will help you more than you think. Bouncing from page to page is the hardest thing to do. When you come across terms you do not understand type the term into a google search. This will help.
