Help with an intel dp35dp motherboard

I just purchased an intel dp35dp mobo and the wireing set up manual may as well be in spanihs to me. This is my first build and i was wondering if there was a web site out there that had better instructions on what wireing from the power supply goes where on the mobo. Any help would be gteatly appriciated

Hi superdarien, you can click on this link for a little help with installing a motherboard.
Connecting power from the power supply to the motherboard.
There are a few connections from the PSU to motherboard & they are important. Please open you're motherboard manual to page 11 & 12.
The letters M & T are the two most important connections. M is a 4-pin ATX_12volt plug. It can only be connected one way. There is a small plastic locking clip on the connector. Letter T is the main power connector. It as well can only be connected (one way). There is also a locking clip. (Plastic). Look at the 24 pin connector on the board.
You do not need to be a geek to hook this stuff up. You're manual will help you more than you think. Bouncing from page to page is the hardest thing to do. When you come across terms you do not understand type the term into a google search. This will help.

sounds like you "might" be having a capasitor starting to fail look at your cap's to see if any have a dome look insteed of flat like the rest if so you have 2 options have the cap's replaced (some tv repair shops will cost $5.00 per cap for $50.00-179.00 or upgrade to a new mother board if you know someone who talks ham radio they can fix it also if they have the equipment

Look for Fixed Disk Boot Sector
appearing under Maintenance Screen
and change it to Disable.

About motherboard

asus p5nsli has a lot more options as compared to the intel. it also supports overclocking so you will be able to boost your processor when the time comes :)

Have you tried clearing the CMOS, and rebooting with a standard keybord and mouse. ? (non usb)
