This may be the same IC that goes out all the time. Symptoms vary. Check for repair kits.

I have sound no picture

No sound - no picture ? that's mean no power at all ? check fuse and power supply - mostly transistor faulty in primary section or the BU Transitor in the high voltage section

My RCA 27V530T has sound bu t no picture. Could this just be the picture tube?

There are many reasons for this fault, and picture tube is one amoung them; but a very rare case. Normally, for all picture tube based TVs, short in the windings or the LOT [Line Output Transforemer] is a normal case. If this occures, there will be no picture or screen at all, as all voltages to the picture tube, including its filament voltage are derived from this transformer. Check this first. If it has faulty, the drive transistor [horizontal output transistor] will also will get leakey. First check this transistor. If found leakey, replace it with same type and number. Switch ON the set for a short period of time, say 5 seconds or so, and check the heat of the replaced transitor by touch, after unpluging the set from AC mains. It can be some heat with this transisotr, but it should not overheat. If it overheats, make sure that the LOT said above is damaged, and should be replaced with same type and number. All these components can be bought from open electronic spare part selling shops at your town. You can do this work by yourself at home, provided must have sufficiant testing and soldering equipments; and a sound knoledge in electronics.
If you don't ahve these, get the TV repaired by any experienced service technician, of by the authorised service center for RCA at your town. OK.

I have a Cambridge audio turntable which looses sound quality about halfway through record, as though it looses one of the channels (on the right hand side). I've tested the speakers, the amp, even had it...

Might be a weak relay or transistor in that channel, they both will stop and reset when overheated. make sure you're ready to test it when it does this again, this may help you locate the bad component. I'm leaning towards the transitor, because they also amplify sound signals in radio frequency.

I have a 32" Dynex flat screen DX-L32-10A and I turned it off and later tried to turn it on, ther is no sound or picture, I only have a blue light on some one please tell me what to do0

It could be either bad capacitors which are noticable or bad transitor not noticable. It is in short protect mode to stop it from possibly burning.

you have these things working Powersupply, Vertical, High voltage, sound, leaves video problem , go the the video circuit on schematic and find the video out transitor or ic or whatever they use, check to see if proper voltage or better yet see if got video with a scope, I see allot of shorted video out transistors.
also check and see if you can inject video with a vcr out to the tv in.
