Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
Sometimes during the spin cycle it sounds like there is a loose screw bouncing around. I took off the back access panel and ran a spin cycle with nothing in the drum... and no sounds created. Next, I threw two pair of jeans in the drum and started a spin cycle and within a few minutes the loose screw sounds returned. It happen randomly, but it sounds very bad when it does happen. Any clue how to address this problem? (rjs 6/4/08)
I had someone tell me that there could be a stone, small toy, or something like that and that item may be caught between the inner and outer tubs. How hard is it to take the front off and get to the area between the two tubs? (rjs6/4/08)
Remove the front ,everything thats in front of the tub.Remove the fins attached inside of tub ,remove any bolt you see .Remove the tub
