Apparently, having sync difficulty isn't a new concept for the LG gold. I configured the settings from Mass to Data as instructed on one of your message boards. However, I am now receiving a "not connected to mobile" error. My computer is reading the USB connection and has installed the drivers. Is there some other settings I need to change in order to access the Mobile Sync capabilities?

use mass storage to move your files heres how
try these drivers www.pcleeds.com/ install the drivers on their drives page there is also the theme manager for viewty there then remove the cable from your phone goto settings
connectivity and set you phone from data suite to mass storage then
plug your usb back in the phone should now be found as a mass storage
device then just download whatever you want to your pc then transfer then to your phones memory card and install your games or apps from there
go to tmobile website. search t-mobile wireless data configurator click link saying begin the configurator and follow instructions. U can get the configurations via text message and it gets done in like 10 seconds.
I had a simular prob but worse my laptop wouldnt even reconise it as a mass storage device! then i re installed the software and it worked again!? try that again but make sure u remove the old one first, start with the drivers the pc suite the usb modem.also check u have set the phone to data service :) menu-settings-phone settings-conectivity-usb connection mode.
the only way I can get this to work is to treat the memory card as a storage device (like a memory stick) On the phone go to settings, connectivity, usb connection then select mass storage.then transfer the MP3 files using copy and paste in My Computer You can then create playlists or use the music player as normal.
I had the same problem. If you go under Settings -> Connectivity -> USB Connections, there are two choices: Data Service & Mass Storage. For synching, you have to switch it to Data Service. Let me know if this helped.
Make sure u have Bluetooth Sharing ticked in ur Sharing preferences (in the 'Internet & Network' part of ur System preferences) when using Bluetooth file transfer method (the USB/Mass storage wasnt working)...this fixed my Blueetooth issues Woohoo!
