I have an mp3 player bought from Zavvy this year and everything was fine up until yesterday. It used to have an icon saying it was on my computer as a 'removable disk f 'but now nothing. Iv'e tried all my other USB devices including my camera and they work fine. The mp3 player plays files already on there perfectly but no computer recognition; help somebody pls
No I had this problem before. go into settings..control panel..system..then go to the hardware tab and then too device manager. under unvervisal serial bus controllers uninstall generic usb hub and restart your computer everything should come up again. You may need to do this more than once. This will force windows to re configure usb drivers again.

Re: Ny Computer won't read my MP3 player
Try to restart your pc or try to unplug your usb so that it can detect to your computer. If this is not working properly try to check your anti virus, sometimes this is the problem can't detect the mp3 player because of the virus.

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer. NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11. If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10. 2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer. 3...Open Media Player on your computer. 4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player. 5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on. 6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it. 7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player. Please take time to rate me

1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up. 2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.
no worries. there may be a read error. if it still connects to your computer fine download all of the files, movies, mp3, mp4 etc back onto your computer. once you have done this go into the file holding all of the mp3's and set the file to show details and look for a mp3 that is the incorrect file size... in general comparison to the other files. also if the device came with software look around for a restore factory settings button or wizard, and once the device is completely clear restart it and reload the files back onto it, remove the device (safely) then switch it off and back on and then try it out again.
hope things work out bro.
