Mousepad not working ACE ASPIRE 5570Z

I am Acer Aspire 5570Z, after some weeks of use, the mouse pad is not working properly. It moves by itself. Since then I have been using a expeternal mouse via usb.

I already tried to set up via software. Since the I disabled it.
Is there any solution?

My mousepad won't work on my Aspire laptop. Ok, the mouse pad works (the pointer will move around), the physical button right click works (not double clicking), but any click on the mousepad and the left...

Check for dirt under the keys. See if you can blow under key and turn the laptop on it's side while you're doing it so anything under it can fall away.

Locked keyboard and mousepad on acer aspire 6920G

Almost same problem: the mouse froze.

Found a nice solution at another website: switch off the pc, unplug the power supply cable AND remove battery. Press "on" switch for 20 seconds. Now re-install battery, plug back power supply cable, and switch on. Worked for me (what exactly worked for me I don't know but hey)

Good luck.

My acer aspire 5100 mouse buttons

You have to go through the Control Panel, double click the mouse icon and find the settings for what is actually called a Glide Pad and change any values from there.
