One day just stopped working.. even when I charge it, it will not turn on.

I have the same problem.  I charge the headset, and the solid red light turns on like normal.  After it finishes (light turns off), I try to turn it on and it doesn't chime or light up blue at all.

Same here -- charged it overnight (twice), charged it during the day when I could see the AC adapter was glowing green, but the unit fails to power up. When I called Plantronics' support number and checked their support site, both said they were closed New Year's week.

Considering the many grammatical errors on their site, quality is obviously not important to Plantronics in general.

I had 3 Plantronics 220. and 2 of them died within 2 weeks I bought. Just wouldn't power on.

Same here. After a few months, it wouldn't turn on. The red light indicated charging, but after that, it wouldn't chime or turn blue to indicate power.

I had a similar problem - maybe the same as yours. With mine it's a problem of a flaky switch. For some reason, it works better if it's in my ear when I press the power button than if I hold it in my hand.

I have a Plantronics 220 BlueTooth, had been on charge for 24 hours, but still will not turn on!, is it time for a new one?, What to do?

I'm afraid that if it's not turning on after that long of a charge you'll need to return it to your retailer or call Plantronics (800-544-4660 x5538) for warranty replacement.

If it's past the warranty period, check out this link for the Plantronics Explorer 220 for all the latest headsets.

Even though the volume is turned all the way up on both my cell phone and on my plantronics 220,both fully charged,I can barely hear any type of call. whether its a given or recieved call.

Try to delete the bluetooth from the phone, and re-pair it or subscribe back on the phone. It may be that your headset is old and needs to be replaced. If this does not work look at the Plantronics M100 bluetooth headset.

I have included the users guide for the Plantronics Explorer 220 headset.

My plantronics 220 won't turn off. The blue light won't turn off and I can't get it on or off.

Try letting the battery go completely dead on the headset and then recharge it. This should fix the problem.

My Plantronics 220 light is green indicating it has been charged. When I try to turn it on I get no light. It hasn't been used for months and I want to pair it with my iphone.

Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPhone. When charging the Plantronics 220, hold down its on/off button until it starts to blink two different colors. Then turn the Bluetooth to on once again on your phone. Once it detects the device, press pair. The pin is '0000'. A little late but hope it helps.
