Question about Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player
I have not been able to use my ipod for a long time. I downloaded a new version of ITUNES and it is not reconized anymore. I tried resetting but that didn't work. I downloaded version 126.96.36.199 and it still won't work. My computer sees it just fine. There are no devices detected. What do I have to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Try and format the iPod using Windows Explorer BEFORE running iTunes. Sometimes a Windows format will resolve a corruption issue with the hard drive. Please realize that you will lose all of your data when you do this, but it may resolve your issue.
The other option is to get us your unit for our FREE Diagnostic Testing. We will inspect the unit on our test bench, provide you with a repair estimate as well as a recycle price in which case we would buy your broken iPod from you for recycling.
