Question about Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player

IPOD not recognized by ITUNES

I have not been able to use my ipod for a long time. I downloaded a new version of ITUNES and it is not reconized anymore. I tried resetting but that didn't work. I downloaded version 7.6.2.9 and it still won't work. My computer sees it just fine. There are no devices detected. What do I have to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try and format the iPod using Windows Explorer BEFORE running iTunes. Sometimes a Windows format will resolve a corruption issue with the hard drive. Please realize that you will lose all of your data when you do this, but it may resolve your issue.

1. Try another USB cord or USB cable. 2. Restrart your computer for a try.

your ipod might be too new,and your cd player too old the alpine cda 9883 is a 2007 model what kind of ipod do you have,if uyou have an older ipod and got the new itunes9 then try downloading an older version of itunes from itunes.com .....good luck

My ipod nano is not recognized by my computer or get charged


Restore your iPod with the latest version of itunes and update software if it gives the option. On the iPod videos, this happened when there was a problem with the hard drive but the new nano has built in solid state memory. If the restore doesn't work, I would get on to Apple. Check inside your headphone socket first. If it's gone red then Apple will say that it's had water damage, so don't let them fob you off with this excuse if it's not red.
