I have a 1995 mercury cougar and my speakers in the doors are horrible. I was going to have them replaced, but I don't know what size i needed for the front doors and the speakers in the back.

Replacing door speakers in a mercury tracer

first remove any screws in door panel, then remove lock and window controls, then take flathead screw driver and SLOWLY pry panel off door. You now will have access to speaker. Speaker is held by 4 screws and wire harness that unclips.
Reverse procedure to reinstall. Door panel pops back in the wholes to reattach
