When I turn it on it looks like it is going to start okay. The RCA comes up, then please wait. then it shows a little lock in the corner and shuts off. When I hook it up to my computer, the "usb connected" comes up.

I have the same problem.

You need to switch the lock off on your LYRA. It is located on the back of the device between the pictures of a key and the word "off".
