Dishwasher lights flashing or blinking. The heating element heats up the water to operating temperature. If the water doesn't reach the proper temperature after a set amount of time, a light on the control panel might start flashing. ... Flashing lights and or beep sounds can mean the dishwasher problem was from a power surge or power outage. You can unplug the dishwasher from power or shut off the breaker to the dishwasher for 1 minute. This may reset the dishwasher and get it back to working order.

Have you checked the air vents? (inlet and outlet, also the fan itself) If they are dirty, you can clean them up using canned air. Blocked air vents may cause overheating and the laptop shuts down in minutes.
Same problem here on JKP15WOW1WW. The cycle starts like this:
1) Open circuit Breaker
2) Open oven panel and push ribbon connector to ERC. Replace planel.
3) Close circuit breaker
4) Run to oven, notice clock flashing some time but not 12:00 and start Bake. Bake button beeps and starts bake coil.
5) Within 5 minutes hear a beep and all buttons on panel are unresponsive. Bake continues. if oven light is on it continues to glow. Only button that responds with a beep (and not to clear bake or oven light) is Clear botton.
Rinse..wash..lather...repeat...
...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes). You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.
First of all, Heat Controller does not mount any schematics on their systems panels at all and supply no information for the service tech to code the light on the outdoor board. This is unbelievable. Anyway- I found that the electrician had re-arranged breakers in the panel supplying the building and had connected the outdoor heat pump to 120v instead of 240v. He had interpenetrated the connection at the unit that has marked 2(N) as being a neutral connection. I explained that on 120v systems, that is neutral, but on a 240v system, it's L2. The outdoor board was flashing 5 times after the power was turned on for 3 minutes. Voltage at "S" was 38.4v, with this condition and the indoor units lights (all) were flashing every second and beeping as well. It's running fine now that we are connected to the proper voltage.
According to the GE repairman who visited, the solution is to close the machine (with the lights flashing). The machine starts and goes through the cycles, which it does rapidly and then all the lights turn off and the machine becomes silent after 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Then the machine has been reset to normal. During this reseting period nothing happens inside the machine, although you may hear a running sound.
Thus, the solution is to run the machine in this flashing light state for the 1-2 minutes it takes to go raipdly through each cycle and then reset.
