Dryer was making a clicking noise - but otherwise, working normal. I rotated the drum opposite direction a bit (Manually), heard some noise like something fell. Now, it seems to be working normally - without a clicking noise. Should I be concerned?

please rotate your cycle dial in the opposite direction of its usual motion by 90 degrees (probably counter clockwise). Then you can run the cycle again and the drain/spin/rinse should work. Otherwise, please power cycle your washing machine.
Check to determine if the drum is coming in contact with the dryer's frame. You can do that by manually rotating the drum. Some drums do not have bearings at the front but are silenced as they turn by hard plastic strips attached to the dryer's frame where it otherwise will come in contact with the drum and make a noise . I had that problem - replaced one or two of those plastic strips -- solved the problem. You will need to remove the front of the dryer to check if your dryer is built as mine.
You have a "Dead Spot" in your Motor...When you rotate the drum you move it from the dead spot and it continues to run as normal.
If you want to solve that problem then you will need to replace the motor...otherwise just live with it.

This is usually the motor but not always. Remove the belt. Check for obstructions in the blower fan housing. Manually rotate the shaft of the motor. If the motor is very stiff, or impossible to rotate manually, and the blower fan housing is clear, you need to replace the motor. If the motor rotates freely, run the motor momentarily with the belt removed and the blower in place. If the motor runs fine with the belt removed, there may be a problem with the idler pulley or the clothes drum. Try to rotate the drum by hand. If it is very difficult to move, correct any problem with the rollers, pulley, rear bearing, then reassemble the dryer and try it again. If the motor hums but doesn't rotate on its own even with the belt removed--yet you can turn it freely by hand--you usually need to replace the motor or the motor start capacitor. Told by several GE Service Techs that the noise is normal metal expansion & nothing can be done. Anyone else have this issue?
First dryer in over 40 years we ever heard this type of noise.
that gap in the drum is most likly hitting a roller in the back of dryer so my best guess is replace drum if you feel it's not that change the felt around door thank you for useing fixya rate me
