We have a Brother Intellifax 4100 purchased about 4 yrs. ago. We put in a new toner cartridge less than a month ago. Since then we cannot get a good copy; it's either very light and/or copies one line on top of another.
What is the most likely problem?

sounds like a defective cartridge, if it's a generic toner the seals may not have been replaced, buy a new one and return the other as defective.
