Question about Dryers
I have a Kenmore 70 series gas dryer that is not heating up. I used it one night and the next day it would not heat. However if I continue to restart the timer the clothes eventually dry but not by heat.
gas dryer not heating
You probably have an open thermal fuse, the dryer will run in some cases and not heat, Just moving air across you clothes will dry them however it takes forever.
If you are electrical or mechanical replace the thermal fuse yourself if not call someone you trust, you can purchase thermal fuses on line from Sears.com just do a parts search for you specific dryer.
