Try and format the iPod using Windows Explorer BEFORE running iTunes.
Sometimes a Windows format will resolve a corruption issue with the
hard drive. Please realize that you will lose all of your data when you
do this, but it may resolve your issue.
The other option is to get us your unit for our FREE
Diagnostic Testing. We will inspect the unit on our test bench, provide you
with a repair estimate as well as a recycle price in which case we would buy your
broken iPod from you for recycling. Regards, Rick EverGreen Electronics 'Eco-Friendly iPod Service, Sales & Recycling' E-Mail: email@example.com Website: http://www.EverGreenElectronics.com FREE Apple iPod

Hi bashamdbasha If you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one IPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data. Please take time to rate me Bud
That is supposed to happen. You simply hit eject button in itunes (this can be located to the right of your ipod in the list containing (library, podcasts, etc.) It looks like an eject button on a vcr.
hey billy, u have to download and install itunes to operate ur ipod on ur comp interface. only itunes recognizes ur ipod , and u can put songs or videos thro i tunes alone.. once connected to the comp the ipod ll say do not disconnect.. u hav to eject it in the i tunes,, der ll b an option for ejectin ur ipod on ur i tunes..
No, be reassured, it is not dead. Be sure you have the latest version of itunes AND ipod software installed. That will most likely solve your problems. If you have moved things around in the ipod hard disk on your computer, restoring would have solved it. So just make sure you're up to date ;)
no once u connect the i-pod the i-tune pages appear and in that page u could see auto fill which in the bottom just click that that will convert teh player and fill all the songs in i-pod which u have in teh pc and remove it and use it>thx rate me solved if its helps
