You will need to convert your mp4 files to mp3 for them to play in the Sansa M250. You can download a free converter at:

How to convert mp4 to mp3?

Are you sure you are doing everything correctly? Maybe you have forgotten to choose the destination path... this or that way, it sounds weird, it is most likely the problem with the converter itself. I recommend everyone this free mp4 to mp3 converter, I have enough experience with it myself, hope it helps you!

My ipod is showing file system error

Hi

File system error can appear due to unplugging the MP3 player without disconnecting it. It may have happened due to formatting it with a different file format or due to memory issue with the player. Please reformat your MP3/MP4 player. Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...

Mp4 file problem

check the name of the file. right click on the file with your mouse and check the file name. sometimes the name will be the problem. if its something like videoname.TMP rename the file to videoname.MOV or videoname.AVI.

be sure to make a backup of the file before you make any changes.

good luck hope this solves your problem. if it doesn't work feel free to pm me
