Leave the photo opened on view and then right click on the desktop, then click on Properties > Settings tab.

You can then experiment with the different screen resolutions until you find one that displays your photos properly and proportionately scaled. For example move the small slider to 1600 x 1200 pixels and press OK. If the photo still doesn't look ok just repeat the above steps and try another resolution setting by moving the slider further to the left or right.

Can you get 4:5 aspect ratio on this monitor, as all my photo's are stretched out of proportion?

Not directly but if you are using them as wallpaper you should set them with the Center (not Stretch) option from the Position setting. But in that case their resolution must be smaller than that of the monitor or the photos will be chopped.

Image stretched widthways

Hi
Depending upon your operating system: Right click on an open area of the background screen. The goto to settings or display settings. From here you're going to want to change the display resolution or display size to match your monitor. Experiment with the different sizes until you get the one that's right for you.

I have a new Acer X203H 20" wide computer monitor. All of my photos are streched wide, and everyone looks fat. Can I adjust this ?

You need to set the PC video resolution to 1600 x 900 for proper 16:9 wide screen format. But if your pictures that you taken with your camera were not 16:9, IE 4 X 5 then it will be stretched side way to fill the screen.

change the screen resolution to different proportions, sounds like you may have set to 1208 x 768 a more appropriate setting would be 1024 x 768 however switch between the different settings until you find one you like

All pictures appear wider than they really are

You may have to match up the video card settings with the monitor settings to get the correct resolution setting. Try adjusting the resolution of the graphics card to match the setting for the monitor. If this does not work you can call, Envision customer support at this telephone number : 1-888-838-6388. They should be able to help you get the correct setting for you set-up. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
