My husband would like to use my account

Your husband should open up his own account providing his email address. That way, when a volunteer responds, your husband would receive a notification of the response in his email account. If he is using your account, only you receive the response notification in your email. You would have to monitor your email for the response for your husband. If he signs up for Fixya with his user name, password, and email address, he will get the notifications in his emails. It is seldom a good idea for individuals to share one email account if for no other reason than it becomes more difficult to sort through mail if you have to go back and find something later. It is just not the same as having one account for a business.

Me and my husband share a email address, he has a Facebook account and I want to but when I put my email address, one that we share it won't let me finish registration. What can I do?

It isn't possible to have two Facebook accounts on one email address. It is however very easy to open a free web based email account (like Gmail for instance) and use that for your Facebook account.

MY HUSBAND WANTS TO JOIN FACEBOOK BUT IT DOESN'T ALLOW HIM BECAUSE AN ACCT ALREADY EXISTS UNDER OUR EMAIL ADDRESS. CAN YOU HAVE TWO FACEBOOK ACCTS UNDER ONE EMAIL? WHAT TO DO? THANKS!!!!

Hi Welcome to Fixya!
Apparently, he really will not be able to create an account using the same email address. I would suggest you guys creating another email address because it requires one email address for one Facebook account. So just create another email address and sign up with Facebook.
Hope this would be a big help!

I am not able to use paypal because my husband and I share the same e mail?

If your husband has already signed up for a PayPal account with that email address you will not be able to sign up a second account. You could either ask him for the PayPal; account password then add your account details to the PayPal account this would mean you would be sharing the PayPal account but be able to choice which account the purchase should go off when you make a purchase. The other option is you could make another email address for yourself and then sign up with that email address. You can get a free email account at www.gmail.com or www.yahoo.com. The last option is you could simply go to PayPal and say you forgot your password this would then ask you your email address put in the email address that you and your husband share and PayPal will send you a confirmation of the change of password to the email. Go to your email address and verify the action from the email they sent you. This will send you to a page where you can change the password to a new one. Affectively this will allow you to take over your husbands account.

My husband and i share the same computer, his email is on to play the free bejeweled on facebook how do i delete his name so i can put my email on facebook, so i can play bejeweled . thanks VERNA

You can view your current email address and add or delete addresses from theSettings tab of the Account Settings page. Your Facebook email notifications will only be sent to the address you designate as your "Contact Email," so be sure this information is accurate.

To change your contact email, just click the "change" link next to Email. Select any other email address you have listed on your account and click the "Change Contact Email" button to finish.

If you would like to add another email address to your account, just enter that new address in the open field next to "New Email." Once you confirm the address, you can go back and set it as your contact email.

How do i change a personal facebook account, with a Business Name, to a Business type account?

Fro my research on your topic it seems a lot of people have had the same problem. I also read that Facebook took this feature option away.
READ THIS ARTICLE BELOW: It might be your only answer

Want to set up a business presence on Facebook but don’t want to have a personal presence? No problem! A little known feature of Facebook is the ability to create business accounts. However if you already have a personal account, keep in mind that you cannot create a separate business account. However if you would like to avoid setting up a personal account and would like to keep things professional, you can take a few steps to get things configured.

From the business account you will be able to manage Facebook advertising campaigns as well as Facebook Pages. In order to get your business account set up, all you’ll need to do is create a Facebook Ad or create a Facebook Page. After you’ve created the page or advertisement, Facebook will ask you to enter your login information or the option to select “I do not have a Facebook account”. At that point all you need to do is enter your business email address and date of birth. That’s it! Now you have a business account on Facebook. One thing that you should keep in mind is that if you have a personal account and go through this process, there is a very good chance Facebook will shut down both accounts. In other words: don’t create multiple accounts. I have received multiple emails from people that don’t want to set up personal accounts though so for those individuals that have not explored Facebook, you can proceed to set up a business account.
While I think advertising on Facebook or creating a page doesn’t make much sense without thoroughly understanding how Facebook works, the company has at least provided the option for those that don’t want a personal account.
